As a member of the Executive Board, the Treasurer will have a key role in governmance. In addition, the Treasurer will be responsible for managing all funds of the Sports Boosters, ensuring that they are received, spent, and recorded in accordance with the organization's financial policies, bylaws, and budget. The Treasurer will prepare an annual budget for review and approval by the membership. The Treasurer will provide regular financial reports to the Executive Board and General Membership. The Treasurer is responsible for ensuring the audit happens each year in accord with the procedures set forth in the bylaws, and will work with the auditors to ensure they have access to records.
